Luci and Joseph met at sixteen while attending high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts. Their friendship formed quickly over a shared love of music, and they soon began playing together regularly. As teenagers, they began gigging professionally in Chicago, landing regular sets at the Jazz Showcase and Winter’s Jazz Club, laying the groundwork for a musical bond that has grown with them ever since.
After graduation, they both moved to California to attend the California Institute of the Arts. While in school, they continued performing and became active in the Los Angeles live music scene.
Since spring 2023, they have held a weekly spot at Delilah in West Hollywood. This has helped establish them and become a cornerstone of their live work. Their style draws from romantic classics and reworks of contemporary music. Rather than simply reciting each song, they make it their own, bringing out what made it feel special in the first place.
From Chicago clubs to Hollywood lounges, Luci and Joseph aim to bring a timeless sound to every room they play.
